  • Rooms Executive Assistant Manager: Clive Edwards

    A hotelier with more than 13 years experience, Clive joins AYANA from the Solis Palmyra Resort and Spa, another West Paces Hotel Group property, where he was Director of Rooms Operations. Before that, the Jamaican native was Hotel Manager at the Sandals Royal Caribbean Beach Resort and Off-Shore Island in Jamaica, Hotel Manager at the Beaches Sandy Bay Beach Resort, and Rooms Division Manager at the Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa. Finding particular satisfaction in surprising and ‘wowing’ guests, Clive brings an innovative, service-based approach to his role as head of the Rooms Division at AYANA.

  • Director of Spa and Director of Business Development Japan: Michi Sonoda

    A Japanese native, Michi-san has been with the resort since 1997, having first started as Guest Relations Manager. She brings more than 20 years of hotel experience to AYANA, where she continues in her role as Spa & Retail Director, in charge of the Thermes Marins Bali Spa and seven retail outlets. Under her stewardship, the spa has won numerous international accolades and continues to be a leader in both Thalasso and traditional treatments, often using products exclusively created for AYANA.

  • Executive Chef: Giordano Faggioli

    Chef Giordano heads AYANA's entire culinary operations, including 13 dining and lounge venues, 24-hour In-room Dining and Banqueting services. From the region of Emilia Romagna in northern Italy, renowned for its homemade fresh pasta, cured meats, asparagus, and seafood fresh from the Adriatic sea, Giordano graduated from the Professional Hotel Institute L. Einaudi in Italy in 1985. His career has seen him travel widely in south-east Asia, with appointments as Executive Chef at luxury hotels including the St Regis Beijing, and Four Seasons Resorts in Chiang Mai and Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

  • Food & Beverage Executive Assistant Manager: Jerome Colson

    The Belgian native and father-of-two joined AYANA after nine years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in F&B management roles, most recently as F&B EAM at the Portman Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai, China. An ultra-marathon runner who considers covering 250 kilometers in 50 degree-plus Celsius temperatures a form of fun, Jerome literally hit the ground running in Bali, where he is responsible for the service at all 13 dining outlets.
